Join the Rancho Mission Viejo Volunteer Family and make a difference in your community with these fun opportunities to give back on this very special day. Check out all of the volunteer opportunities:

01/

Course Monitor

Help with keeping runners on the course the day of the event.

02/

Day-Of Registration

Assist runners with the day-of registration, packet pickup, and bib distributions.

03/

Hydration Station

Provide waters to runners along the course.

04/

Snack Station

Provide snacks to runners after they’re done running.

05/

Parking Attendants

Assist runners with basic parking and traffic direction.

06/

Traffic Flaggers

Guide traffic appropriately to avoid vehicle interference with the event.

07/

Set-Up/Tear-Down

Helping staff and volunteers with initial set-up and tear-down of the event.

08/

Medal Distribution

Distribute medals at the end of the run to all participants and keep watch over medal supply.

09/

Photographers

Take photos of the event throughout the course

10/

Bike Marshalls

Lead the way for the course and assist runners with staying on the designated course.

11/

Turkey Mascots

Interact with on-lookers and participants throughout the duration of the event. Cheer on runners going across the finish line. Pose for pictures. Be a part of the photos for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place runners.

Please note that all volunteers under the age of 18 will require a parent's consent on their liability waivers. Volunteers must be a minimum of 13 years old to volunteer. Those who are between the ages of 13 and 15 years old must be accompanied by a guardian during the time of their shift. Volunteers who are 16 to 17 years old do not need a guardian, but will still require a guardian’s consent on their liability waiver. All participants and volunteers, regardless of age, must sign a liability waiver prior to their shift.

All volunteers must arrive by 7:00AM, and will be able to leave after checking out with their station manager. Shift times will vary depending on which shift you volunteer for.
