GLA was formed in 1989 to address both the private and public sectors’ need for assistance regarding the processing of permits pursuant to the Clean Water Act. Currently, we employ a diverse staff of recognized professionals in the specialties of Regulations and Policy, Biological Resources, Habitat Restoration, and Geographic Information Systems.

We specialize in wetlands and waters-related permitting, biological surveys and resources, endangered species coordination, habitat restoration design and mitigation implementation and monitoring. We are frequently commissioned as expert testimony to provide regulatory analyses, case studies, and comments regarding proposed legislation and regulation.

We have conducted work throughout the Southwest and beyond, with involvement in projects as far south as the Mexican border, as far north as Washington State, and as far east as Montana. The vast majority of our work and experience encompasses most of Southern California, with an emphasis in the Counties of Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, and San Diego.
